Denise Ajayi Williams is the President and Co-Founder of Silicon Valley- Nigerian Economic Development Inc. (SV-NED).
SV-NED Inc. is responsible for officially inviting and welcoming the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo, Minister of Defense, Mansur Dan Ali, and cultural leader His Imperial Majesty, Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II to Silicon Valley. SV-NED is also responsible for the successful completion of two Immersion Training & Certification Programs with a graduating class of 120 people all from Nigeria.
Williams serves on the board of 3 companies, including SV-NED Inc., Global Connection for Women Foundation, and Sky Clinic Connect. Williams earned her Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of California, Riverside and her Masters in Business Administration Degree from Golden Gate University San Francisco, CA. Williams professional career began at the early age of 23 working for premier Healthcare companies including Kaiser Permanente, Gilead Sciences, Abbott Laboratories, and the State of CA Department of Public Health.
Williams is a recipient of several distinguished awards including a US Congressional Award for Outstanding Contributions from Congresswoman Barbara Lee, a US Senatorial Award from Senator Dianne Feinstein for Outstanding Community Leadership, and Visionary Award from Actor Danny Glover. Williams caught the attention of Forbes Africa‘s Top 30 Under 30 and has been featured on several publications including CNBC Africa, Huffington Post, Bold.Global, Thrive Global and Black Enterprise.
Williams is most passionate about building a bridge of economic prosperity between Silicon Valley technology mecca of the world and emerging countries starting with Nigeria. Her spare time is devoted to promoting childhood literacy and diversity which can be observed through her most passionate venture as the Author of the children’s book series, Akiti the Hunter the 1st African Action Superhero.
