SVNED Spotlight: LA has a new Dentist, Introducing Dr. Lauren Matthews

Dr. Lauren Mathews is a Southern California native, that grew up in the small town of Seal Beach. She received her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from University of California, Riverside and went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. She then completed a General Practice Residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical center where she earned the highest honor of Resident of the Year. 

Dr. Mathews is committed to her profession and regularly attends lectures and seminars to stay current and updated on new techniques and practices. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Angel City Dental Society, as well as the Harbor Dental Society. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 

Dr. Mathews loves children and takes great pleasure in easing dental fears.  She relishes in seeing happy faces after each successful visit. 

In her free time, Dr. Mathews enjoys dancing, eating, listening to live music, exercising, hiking, shopping, and taking naps.
